Childhood Clothing Insecurity affects two out of every five children in the United States (about 20 million children). Parents often have to decide between buying food, paying rent, and providing adequate clothing for their children. When this happens, kids go to school with worn, ill-fitting, unsuitable clothing that affects their self-confidence, social relationships, and academic performance. But you can help!
The community and its families are at the heart of everything Leslie's Laundry Foundation does. With the support of donors this Foundation provides new and gently worn clothing and footwear to local children and expectant mothers. ​

Your charitable clothing donations of new and gently worn items, or monetary donations are essential to our mission.
We hope to give children better clothing than they are accustomed. Anyone can drop off new and gently worn clothing at our location, in Camden, NY. All incoming clothing is laundered, sorted, and then redistributed to local families.
Your monetary donations allow us to supplement our current inventory with new items. This allows us to provide immediate needs. We are able to support the initial need for necessities such as diapers, underwear, maternity wear, and winter clothing. Monetary gifts also help us to purchase essential supplies like laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

Our why...
"
Leslie's Laundry provides families with the essentials. In 2024 Leslie washed almost 800 loads of donated clothing. "I love the work that I have been able to accomplish (with the Lord's guidance) and am working every day now to expand our mission."
​
We also carry gently used cloth diapers as well as new cloth diapers for sale. I hope to help increase the number of new mothers who wish to use cloth diapers by making the transition as easy as possible.
