LAUNDRY PROCESS

Designed for children from birth through age 18, we offer eco-friendly products (Earthwash, Arm & Hammer and Dreft) for baby's laundry. In addition, we provide clothesline-dried options as long as the sun is out! Care is taken to remove as many stains as possible.

Drop off Clothing

- Drop off donations to our building by coming down the driveway. There they will be sorted, washed, dried, folded, and then individually packaged per child's needs.

Washing

Eco-friendly Scharlena's Sudz is used for all laundry for premies through size 18 **This laundry soap is also available for purchase
Dreft Scent Boosters are used sometimes to enhance the baby powder fragrance,
Laundry dryer sheets are used for children up to size 18 as well as maternity clothes.
Borax stain remover and whitening agent used on all white laundry

Drying + Folding

After washing, we fold and pack up your items! In the months of May-November we try to dry clothing on the clothesline.

When inclement weather is present, clothes will be dried using wool dryer balls (to reduce wrinkling) and/or dryer sheets.

"So many times, because of generous donors, I was able to provide seasonal clothing for children who had no ability to help themselves. It became an informal mission within my heart.

I soon came to the realization that providing this assurance to a needy child was more important than any other position I ever held in my career. These circumstances and so many more, led me to find my own way to continue helping parents provide clothing for their children. The biggest difference has been the range and amount of clothing donated to me to share with any parent in need, regardless of income. In 2024 I washed almost 800 loads of infant and children's laundry. "
